October 4th ride

Well it is October and i am out for a 25 mile ride. The temp is about 77 degrees with low humidity. My rear tire seems to be in great shape considering I had 4 flat tires in a row. The problem was a cut in the tire that was slowly knawing down on my tube. And in time creating a hole. So I used severl layers of duct tape on the inner part of the tire. This has been working great so far. October rides are difficult for me in that my performnace tends to decline as I move into the fall and winter. I will be riding on Oct 6 and we continue the posts.
